Once the account has been created, how long does it take before it starts serving ads?

Sometimes we need to process great amounts of information, so it may take up to 6-8 hours from the moment you've inserted the code in a site for the first time until ads start being served, although it usually takes less than that.

What can I do if I don't want certain ads to be shown on my site?

Go to "My site" on your Smowtion Media account. We've been working very hard on a Creativity filter, which allows you to choose the ads you do not wish to show on your site by subject or category. You can also block a particular banner you don't want on your site, by choosing the option "block creativities".

Is there a limit on the number of ads to be shown on a page?

There is a limit of 5 ads per page. You can use 5 banners or 4 banners and 1 pop (have in mind that sliders are counted as a banner). This is because we've noticed that showing more ads has a negative effect on their performance, both in the long and the short term. Also remember that the pop code should be pasted at the end, after the last banner code in the page.

Do you work with text ads?

No, we only work with images and display banners (animated). You'll never see annoying ads, nor ads with sound.

Which ad formats do you offer?

Nowadays we are working with three different formats: Banners, Pops and Sliders, which can be found in My Websites, Create a set of ads, at the bottom of the page. We offer banners in the seven most popular metrics of the market: 728x90, 300x250, 160x600, 468x60, 120x600, 234x60 and 336x280. Also, in this format, we offer special sizes for mobile: 120x20, 168x28, 216x36 and 300x50. Sliders, in contrast with Banners, are ads that slide from the different sides of the website. We also offer in diverse metrics: 728x90, 300x250, 160x600, 468x60, 120x600 and 336x280. Pops are ads that are displayed in a another browser window separated from the website

Once I've inserted the ensembles of ads in my site, do I ever have to modify them?

No. Once you've pasted the code, the ads of the different campaigns will rotate automatically.
